Fouta Toro West African Dance and Drum Ensemble Directed by Malik Sow, Fouta Toro West African Dance and Drum Ensemble presents the dances, songs, and music of Senegal, Mali, and Guinea. Malik established the group in 1992, lending the name of his Fulani tribe to the dance ensemble as a gesture of pride. The group aims to provide students with a colorfully-costumed look at the history, nations, and people of the West African region.
